We want to help churches become trauma-informed communities of faith. In times of crisis, studies show the first place to which many turn is their local or faith-based community resource.
Current and past trauma are at the root of most problems hindering spiritual, emotional, mental and even physical growth and health.
Oftentimes churches want to provide ethical and safe care for individuals and families but lack the training and resources to provide these services. These are real obstacles.
Our heart is to train, develop and deploy servant leaders who share your organization’s culture and values to love and care for people.
We believe there are many people who genuinely have a desire to grow, as well as to serve others; however, they desire to be adequately trained and supported
BDA can offer this support and training, along with a proven operating and developmental framework for creating a trauma-informed culture of hope and healing.

Our dynamic 20+ member team, with a collective passion for helping hurting people, brings a diverse range of qualifications and extensive experience to provide exceptional support and guidance. With over 50+ years of experience, our team members hold an array of degrees and certifications in counseling, trauma resolution, biblical education, adult education and leadership. Additionally, they have all served in a variety of church roles, including: staff, leadership, and volunteer.
Our team includes pastors with backgrounds in counseling, ministry development and program development. We have expertise in areas such as marriage and couples therapy, addiction recovery, trauma resolution, team development and more. Our qualifications also extend to fields like business, project management, nursing, education, psychology, and engineering, ensuring a well-rounded perspective.
We want to emphasize that our team is motivated by a deep, concerted passion for serving those in need, empowering the body of Christ and an unwavering commitment to Jesus and the advancement of His kingdom. We are dedicated to assisting your church in fulfilling its mission.
